The classic since 2003. Superlatives where the eye can see. From the basecamp of Mount Everest in close contact to the famous Khumbu Icefall, we follow historical paths to the "Sherpa capital" Namche Bazar.

  • The highest marathon in the world
  • fantastic views of Himalaya giants
  • Overnight stay in Everest Basecamp (otherwise only expedition mountaineers)
21 km | 4.350m

The shortest running distance at the THEM and ideal for those who want to be present at all the highlights, but don't want to run quite as long on race day. The starting point is exactly halfway through the marathon in Dingboche.

  • Half distance, 100% pleasure
  • Only for international runners
  • Fun, fast, cool!
60 km | 5.364m

Extreme Ultra

Whoever is not challenged enough with the Marathon will certainly be happy here. The "Extreme Ultra" also starts at Everest Basecamp, but then turns a proper loop towards Gokyo before heading towards Namche.

  • The "hardcore" version
  • Five crisp high mountain passes
  • Overnight stay in Everest Basecamp (otherwise only expedition mountaineers)
All In

Ideal for friends and family who do not run themselves. Accompanying persons are fully involved and right in the middle of it, experiencing the breathtaking nature, the intensive togetherness and all the highlights to the full.

  • One of the most beautiful trekking tours in the world
  • Including Kala Patthar ascent
  • Just in time for the runner's finish in Namche

You can choose between two types of accommodation for the 20-day Everest Marathon trip, depending on whether you prefer to stay in a lodge or tent during the trek.
